What You’ll Do:

  • Client Success: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring they maximize their experience with Ticketnology’s solutions.
  • Event Management: Collaborate with clients on their live event efforts, assisting with ticket usage strategies and event planning for business development.
  • Support & Training: Provide live and recorded training sessions, create customized client playbooks, and ensure seamless onboarding for new accounts.
  • Problem-Solving: Address client challenges proactively, offering creative solutions to optimize ticket usage and reporting.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication across all interactions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and product development, to deliver a stellar client experience.
  • Upselling: Identify opportunities to enhance client engagement and manage client renewals. Creating a seamless process and maintaining our 96% renewal rate through proactive communication and exceptional service.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 1–3 years as an Account Manager, or in events, marketing, or a related role. Experience in SaaS, sports, or entertainment is a plus.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with sports and entertainment industries, including season ticket or event management.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working non-traditional hours, including occasional nights and weekends, with the benefit of flex time during slower periods.
  • Client-Focused: A proven track record of providing excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Representative to expand Ticketnology’s market presence, build strong client relationships, and close deals that align with our mission. This role is ideal for a goal-oriented individual with a passion for live events, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in a non-standard B2B sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify, research, and prospect potential clients across industries such as law, technology, automotive, and construction, focusing on small to medium-sized businesses.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline through various channels, including email outreach, cold calling, networking events, and LinkedIn.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling pitches and demos of Ticket Booth and other Ticketnology products, showcasing how they solve pain points and provide value.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to align their needs with Ticketnology’s solutions.
  • Market Strategy: Develop and execute business development strategies tailored to specific industries and geographic regions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client success.
  • Metrics Tracking: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and track key performance metrics using tools like HubSpot.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally with experience in sports ticket sales, live events, or SaaS.
  • Passion: Strong interest in live events, sports, and the ticketing ecosystem.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to build relationships and close deals in a longer sales cycle environment.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
    • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Tools: Familiarity with HubSpot, CRM platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
